Note: All permits for heavy vehicle Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 vehicle types must now apply to the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). For more information, contact the NHVR on 1300 MYNHVR (1300 696 487) or www.nhvr.gov.au. Only permits for vehicles with a GVM less than 4.50t eg sedans, station wagons, light trucks, light tractors etc. can apply via EzyReg.

Important Notes for Vehicle Permit Application: Incomplete or false information will render this application void. Only one LEAD vehicle per application can be processed. Name of vehicle owner must be the same as that which appears on the vehicle registration certificate. For this application to be processed it is mandatory that the vehicle(s) have been assessed and approved by the Road Access Unit. (Refer to Permit Vehicle Listing Application - Form A) In addition to this application, you may be required to submit further information on request from the Road Access Unit.
